Thicket Labs is at the American Evaluation Association this week, and will be speaking on a panel about evaluation of complexity alongside Kerry Bruce of Pact. Here's what we're speaking about:
Flexible Evaluations for a Complex World
Collaborative programs need ways to share learning and evaluate their collective impact across shared goals with speed and efficiency. This presentation will discuss methods and tools for establishing common ground and informing responsive decision making while building community networks. Using fuzzy cognitive mapping, we visualize and analyze commonalities and differences across programs that share aligned values and issue areas but not necessarily the same needs or program components. A case study of a community-based healthcare collaborative will show how these tools help programs share learnings more easily and build relationships across the collaborative.
